Light Attack Delay After a Heavy Attack

Anyone else notice that if a light attack is immediately performed after a heavy attack, it has about a 0.5 second delay after the animation appears to 'hit' to register as a hit? I can actually heavy/light then immediately perform a skill such as if I was light weaving to actually override the light attack damage after the heavy, even if the light attack animation was shown.

Edit: This is noticed with one hand and shield and two handed weapons.

I can't comment on the heavy attack, since I rarely do that unless I need some stamina back (StamDK), but DW LA Is sometimes laggy for me, too. Or sometimes turns into an odd combo of a light and medium attack. That I can live with, my biggest gripe, however, is endlesshail.

I'm on console (PS4) and have ground abilities on quick cast. I've stopped bothering with animation cancelling since it bugs up a lot, the exception being bar swapping.. since that is still reliable.

My problem with endless hail is that the yellow targeting circle stays on for far longer than the initial animation duration. When I notice it, I tap block in the hopes to cancel whatever the hell is going on with the animation, but that would only leave my toon locked in the block stance until endlesshail miraculously finishes it's bugged targeting and animation. I nearly forgot the added bonus of my Bow LA weaves sometimes not hitting before and after endlesshail.

On the target dummy, having endless hail and light attacks bug out costs me a 1-3k loss of DPS, depending on how often it happens and how long the delayed targeting and animation lasts. I can live with those numbers, I just don't enjoy looking useless for seconds in the middle of a battle.

This makes me look rather stupid in group content, especially vet trials. I can feel the stares of my group mates etching the word "scrub" on my forehead. I'm quite proud of having stepped up my game to "Half Scrub", thank you, and would rather have that etched.

Combat has become (more) sluggish since One Tamriel. I hope they fix it. My non-existent reputation is at stake.

Yeah the Endless Hail bug is real. The same thing happens with Rearming Trap right after a bar swap. So generally, its safer to skip the light attacks. I usually only do 2 of them now, one before the Trap (while spamming the Trap key) and then just spam the Endless Hail key as when the animation actually goes off, I just cut off the back end of it with block before the LA + PI.

I was considering that, too. But I was thinking of how skipping blight attacks while on Bow bar would not make the most of the improved Hawk Eye passive. It bugs me xD

    everything has a delay now,
    even invisibility.
go into cloak and it makes you stand up when it ends.

Oh, that's because you are not in crouch. if you crouch while invisible you will be in crouch when it ends.

True but speed of execution > 5% more dmg for 5 seconds xD
