Health glitch, Animation glitches, Random load screens, Glitched NPC's... that's just from yesterday

1. Health glitch in Blackwater Blade. Your health will fall below 100% (I have mine below 50% at points) and never recovers. You can't heal it, it just stays stuck at that reduced percentage. And this is not a graphical error, as you can tell how much damage it takes to die, which is not 100% of the health you should have in BWB with the buff. Only way to fix is wait it is to log out.

2. Missing/glitched animations. Breath of Life animation doesn't happen most of the time. No channel "beam" on resto staff heavy attacks (even though it still does damage).

3. Critical Charge/Shield Charge falling through the world: you charge at an enemy, all the sudden, load screen, then when the game comes back, it is nothing but a white screen with your character and the UI showing. No environment, no mobs, no players/NPC's. Fengrush actually captured it in a video on YouTube of this happening to him ("Epic Scroll Chase" 3:55 in). I have had it happen to me in Cyrodil and PVE zones both, and on both skills.

4. Random load screens. Yes, it is still happening, in every zone.

5. Glitched NPC's. Captain Kaleen spawns under the dock and you cannot talk to her (the opening Stros M'kai quest). The Prophet Renders twice on "Daughter of Giants" quest. One will be standing, one sitting in the chair.

And yes, I have gone through all the fixes they have sent me in reply to my tickets, which have included setting up port forwarding, deleting save settings, re-installing the game, and rebuilding the PS4 database. None of these things, which took HOURS on HOURS to do, fixed any of my problems.

First off .. don't kill (or scream at) the messenger...

I have been playing ESO since pre closed-beta.. and have dealt with pretty much every issue in the book.

I can tell you right now, that the slew of issues you have run into, are all related to one set of problems, and you are not going to like what I have to say.

If I am reading right, you are on PS4.. so I am not sure how to tell you to proceed.. but I can give you some indications of whats going on, and the things I looked at on PC..

1) Your connection may have been slow at the time. Reason for statement: When my connection was slow/laggy I got more than the usual occurrences of load screens. A side note.. this can also happen during events (like now) when areas are overcrowded.

2) Packet loss. If your PS4 is on wireless, and/or is sharing a connection with others within your home, you may have been experiencing packet loss. Reason for statement: Your game client and the server exchange data. When that data is incomplete due to packet loss, you see things like mismatch UI information. Examples being Health data, Skills that wont fire, disabled skill bars, falling through the world, inability to interact with objects.

If you are on PC, I would also suggest closing down anything else you don't need to be running.

Do you have these problems all the time? or are they sporadic?

I highly suggest you look into a tool for checking your home network for slow/lost packets.

I'm experiencing random load screens and glitched animations. I sometimes have problems selecting things like shop keepers or crafting stations while there are other people about.

It could be my internet connection, which is not the greatest but which has no issues on the EU server. Things have improved a little since the last maintenences (as in, the game is no longer virtually unplayable due to lag at Dolmens or other busy spots).

I've had similar issues with NPC's. Sometimes an NPC I need to follow for a quest will try to lead me up a staircase but instead will run through the staircase into what I'm assuming is oblivion and disappearing forever. The only way to fix it is to abandon the quest and start it over, which takes forever and is immensely annoying.
