Assassins will.... / sigh

in pvp.... the Assassins Will is my most favorite and most hated skill.

I hate it because some times when you are about to shoot it and there is a LOS... and you already hit the button... the skill does not go off so you have to get back in to your 4 light attacks. I also hate it that , when I am finally getting ready to do my burst.. the 20 seconds are always magically up, and it just recasts the skill. I guess its my bad lol..

I love it, because when I shoot it really hurts. I also love it for the minor berserk. and if I can make it work properly, I am a scary opponent.
THE CAVELRY HAS ARRIVED! Cav is a professional magblade, (in his not so professional opinion). He is immortal and is fighting for the Pact since 2E 572, amidst the turmoil of the Second Akaviri Invasion. He protects the provinces of Skyrim, Morrowind and Black Marsh.

Sarcasm is something too serious to be taken lightly

I was born with the wrong sign
    In the wrong house
    With the wrong ascendancy
    I took the wrong road
That led to the wrong tendencies
I was in the wrong place at the wrong time
For the wrong reason and the wrong rhyme
On the wrong day of the wrong week
Used the wrong method with the wrong technique

We call it a case of the disappearing merciless. Sometimes it proccs then you go to hit it you just buff again. Other times it will play the animation then disappear completely. After fighting someone for 10 mins and 1 of the 10 actually works it just isn't worth it. Even though it's the only burst for a Ranged MNB.

But hey Velocious Curse was too clunky, right?

Yes, I still can't believe they haven't addressed this skill in Homestead where their focus was on simplifying things and rotations.

Just hope that in Morrowind we get a change to this skill. And that Twisting Path wouldfinally scale off Thaumaturge.

I honeslty feel like in pvp its more effort than its worth, especially in console. On pc at least i have timers to better line it up. But still having to hit twice the amount of attacks due to dodge to trigger it and then having it not fire at all or when it does fire, it gets dodged as well.

Thankfully its getting some kind of rework. Im curious what they are going to do with it.

Dodged light and heavy attacks count towards Assassin's Will.

Hmm. I was under the impression that it does not count. since I only play mage blade in pvp. but I will have to double check today.

Back in 1T when duelling came out, a mate of mine wanted to test it on me and it worked (I got one shot in the process too lol)

Actually it shouldn't be dodgeable, because it's the only Magblade's offensive ability that makes him playable in pvp.

That's the problem man. It is being dodged so much that I have to keep it and time my burst... to my disadvantage... that's when the 20 second timer runs out.

quite odd that other channeled abilities like beam or soul assault just seem to hit people through trees and such a decent amount before actually breaking, yet our .1 sec channel on assassin's will wont go off when someone decides to stick part of their body behind a tree.

but even though i get salty about that, los SHOULD work against merciless resolve, as well as other skills. Whats more annoying is when the skill is used when no los is in place. not even animation cancelled at all. it just magically disappears along with the burst I was trying to line up.

That's not true. You'd get 120 dodgeable light attacks from zergs. Then you'd get 30 undodgeable Merciless procs.

Sorry but im not sure i believe this. There is a reason most magblades bar swap to resto for the undodgeable love tap light attacks to guarantee the proc. I will test it

They should just make it a passive ability that procs with every 4th light or heavy attack.

The most annoying part of it for me, is the fact that the audio is super bugged out on when it is up and down! The fact that I get no visual indication without scanning my skill bar really hampers any kind of fluidity I may have in a fight.

In fact, even my skill bar bugs out from time to time. Indicating that I have one ready when I don't.

It's just completely bugged out TBH.

An undodgeable ability that can hit up to 14k on players? Hell no, you out of your mind. Mag blade needs a buff to regular damage, not a broken ass skill like that

LOL then magDK just have to use wings and watch them kill themselves lol. No it's fine as is. But if something were to change, all it needs is for the arrow cast to refresh the buff.
