Destroying relics?

If you destroy the Orsinium relics/treasures will they return to their orginial location or are they gone forever?

They will return.

But not if you find them and destroy them before you talk to the Museum Person, that is what, or at least did, reset the items in the past.

In any event, why would you even destroy them? Turn the things in, then you don't have to worry about it. Her quest is a quick wayshrine hop and a ride up a mountain to have her start accepting these things.

That's good news. I destroyed them back when Orsinium city was taking characters hostage on Xbox but a friend told me he was able to use the wayshrine recently without getting caught in a crash loop so I'd like to try again.

I can see why you destroyed them.

Quite frankly I destroyed them back when I did not know what was going on with Orsinium. I had not talked to the Museum person yet, and I had these 3 relics I could not figure out what to do with. All found near or at World Bosses, so easy to acquire. So, I got rid of them.

They were not there again for me to collect until I talked to the Museum lady. However, now that I know what to do with them, I just turn them in when I get a chance.
