Why are writ vouchers..

Only character specific? It makes no sense, they are a form of currency. Gold, key fragments, tel var, etc... are all transferable between characters. The only other thing non-transferable is AP for obvious reasons as it was earned by killing opposing players in a faction war.

If I can earn gold and Tel Var in the Imperial city on another character why can't I transfer a writ voucher?

Currently, yes. As the system is new, we’re constantly evaluating decisions such as this and taking player feedback into consideration. This may change in the future, or it may remain as-is.

If it's any consolation, the devs mentioned they would be looking at that. But yeah, it should have never been character specific.

Where did they say this? Not questioning your veracity just curious on where and who said it for future reference

I think Gina mentioned it in the ESO Live from before Pax, but not entirely sure. It might have been a dev comment in one of the other writ voucher threads.

Not all currency are account wide. AP isn't.

Read my post I mentioned this already.

But ap is a very specific earned type of currency.

Writ vouchers are not, it's the equivalent of tel var stones which ARE transferable
