Why do dungeons drop prosperous and training trait?

Does it even benefit us in combat and builds at all when you level up faster and gain more loot in end game contents such as pvp, trials, and group dungeons? It is more of a hindrance and makes the game grindier.

So you have to do them 100+ times

    Oh and RNG
This, they don't make much sense end game, if someone want them for grinding they can just as well use crafted gear.

What if you're grinding for undaunted sets and sets that cannot be crafted? Ebon armory?

Why should you want training in Ebon?
Or did you misunderstand me, remove prosperous and training from cp160 drops, keep them on crafted gear.

They keep you running content. Leaving trash traits on gear increases the chance that you won't get what you need, meaning you'll keep doing the same content over and over. It's free for ZOS. It allows developers to get more playing time out of you, which is good business.

Zenimax like to *** us very deep, that's why, oh and because the dev team usually run vMol with prosperous sets and it's so easy that they decided to remove Warlord and Magician CP because of balance you know.

It's been posted about so many times, I just made a post a couple of weeks ago. It's the grind. Grind extends game life albeit in an awful and lazy way. The more time we spend running the same f***in content again and again the more time they have between releases of real content and bug fixes and the more time they can spend releasing crown store items.

Why else ? Because of common sense for instance ?

Having a "good trait" such as sharpened or divines on your gear will increase your performance by something like 10-20%. Which will make a difference of 5-10% in the time needed to complete content or kill mobs.
If you're lacking gold or CPs and those are your current priorities, then it makes more sense to use prosperous or training on your gear because they'll increase your gold or XP by more than 5-10%.

I agree most people at endgame don't lack either gold nor XP. But just because something isn't useful to a majority doesn't mean it's useless for everyone.

Lol. The difference between full divines and prosperous is less then 3% dps, when you have the thief mundas, the mundas that gives the most dps out of all of them.

Don't believe me? Read the first post here-

    https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/262295/nirnhoned-precise-and-sharpened/p1

Precise is 7% crit, full divines armor gives an extra 5.775% crit, so precise gives an extra 3.5% dps, that means full divines will give 82.5% of the dps that precise will, or 2.9% increase in dps.

People need to relax and just use what they get, it is better to have full prosperous BSW then most other mag dps armor.

Now sharpened is a good 7-10% increase in dps, so together with divines it is around 10-13%, so on the lower end of what you are saying but still not the end all be all of what you are talking about.

Well, I didn't want to (and couldn't anyway) go that far into the math, but my point was that "bad traits" are underrated. If your point is that "good traits are overrated" then I agree on that too.

The problem is that most "meta-builds" are thrown into the internet without much explanation or pedagogy, and people want to copy-paste them to the T because they don't know what really matters and what doesn't matter so much.
