12 man open world boss

Just like a trial boss mob maybe tougher. Like one or two in some open world zones. It's 12 man max if you have more you will not be able to engage it and once engaged no one else can leave or join. Also when a group agro's the boss it locks so no interference from people from outside the group can heal you or attack the boss encounter. This adds another flavor to the end game content instead of trials. Not every aspect of a game had to be catered to the casual players. This is just a rough idea, I know it's not a new one but I think it would be good for the game and fun for the players.
Opinions??

Basically like Orsinium World Bosses right but more of a group lock basis only just for the group on your topic I'd like to see World Boss pledges being added to the end game content a little bit more.

Not so sure like the idea of needing to find a 12 person group to take on world bosses. Can be difficult enough trying to find anyone interested in world bosses, as it is now. How about if the difficulty level of the world bosses is raised based on the number of players attacking?

Like in other MMO they not always up there's a long respawn timer. 12 randoms prob won't be able to kill it. End game world boss for the non casual players. Most likely you'll have to be in a trials guild and get together and kill it. It can drop something unique only from x12 world bosses or anything from any of the trials.

People complaining about the end game so this is something different nthat can be exciting.

Orsinium bosses are close to what you seek.

Yea sort of. But want something much stronger where you need 12 people. You can solo the world bosses in orsinium.

I remember my days on EverQuest 2 when these contested bosses would spawn and several guilds would race there to take it down. One guild would watch the battle and if they failed the watching guild would rush in and take their turn. They were 24 man contested bosses. It was fun and rewarding to be that group to take the down. The fights were fun and engaging.

I just thought just maybe adding something like this would be fun for the hardcore players out there. And trust me they are out there. Need more End Game options then just the same 4 trials. Craglorn trials are so old and stale, same stuff and mechanics as it was at V12. They just scaled it up and buffed up the stats and think that should be good enough. This game has been scaling to casual gamers and that's fine but just don't forget the hardcore people that want challenges like this.

I would love to see this make it to the game.
