Been over a year.....i want a cyrodill loading screen painting so i can put it right at the entrace to every house. All you will be able to see is this painting and will not be allowed to move.

If you run fullscreen mode (not windowed fullscreen) and you get the crashed eso that will not close or let you use task manager to close it:

"Sign out" of windows.

This can be done via the taskbar, cntl-alt-del, Winkey+X menu.

It will generally work on any crashed or failed to close app that can't be closed via task manager (or is full screen and higher priority than task manager and preventing it's usage)

We all have stories of lost battles and fallen keeps that were extremely winnable before most of the raid got stuck in a load screen, and everyone else frantically traded with them as the front door strength bar dwindled...

A couple more protips:

1. If the group lead isn't stuck, kicking stuck people out of the group will frequently break the load screen for them.

2. Trade and/or challenge people to duels/otherwise interact with people who are stuck. their corporeal form is often at the place to which they were porting.

3. Click and type madly the second you enter the loading screen. Sometimes this brings me out instantly.

4. If you have a strong PC, it'll be a LOT faster to restart the client using methods people have outlined than waiting to get out of it. IF a loadscreen lasts more than 20 seconds I just restart.



It will never be fixed, because ZoS doesn't care. That isn't a judgement, just an observation of fact. I understand. PvE is what makes the big bucks.

Most of my Cyrodiil playtime from 2.5-3.0 was in groups, and I encountered this bug every play session. For the past few months, I've been playing ungrouped almost exclusively and I haven't been impacted by it once.

There's definitely a correlation between groups and the loading screen bug as many have noted experiences such as mine over the years. In particular, it seems it may relate to the invisible group member bug.

With that said, there are different loading screen bugs. The group loading screen bug is different than the loading screen bug that can happen with gap closers. So perhaps the loading screen bug you're experiencing solo is different than the group bug.

Its the teleport to a keep or back to the starting area and get stuck in an infinite loading screen one... happens very frequently and happens when not in a group at all.

but hey.. it's mostly in PvP... so ZOS doesn't care...
