Chokethorn Monster set; bug or feature?

Fixing a wall is seen as a heal for this set, which if your about to get set upon may well be a feature but I'm guessing its a not intended for it to do so.

Wall repair kits also benefit from major mending, indicating they're considered a heal. I'm not sure why though

Forgot to add, it actually prevent you repairing until the animation is completed.
