What drains Magicka that can't be cleansed?

Can anyone shed light on this?

I play a Magplar and sometimes in PVP my Magicka will tick down in small increments

Buff tracker (S'rendarr) shows no debuffs and casting Extended Ritual doesn't stop it.

The ticks are every 2 seconds.

The only enemy in the area was a Nightblade, there were some allies fighting as well. The ticks continued even after the NB was killed.

I was running Magickasteal ability Elemental Drain at the time.

So am I being screwed by a bug a uncleanseable hidden debuff or what?

    Tl;dr really weigh the fun you have in game vs the business practices you are supporting.

    Wouldn't that just do damage to my health and give the weilder a small amount of magicka once per hit?
    I'm losing magicka as if i had a dot on me.

    Poisons will show up with a debuff tracker, and can also be cleansed/purged.

    I'm not aware of any mechanic in the game that does this. Do you have a skill on your bar that is increasing max magicka? That would make your magicka values appear to decrease when you swap bars.

    Ive had this too. Seemed a side effect to siege but cant be sure.
    Was stealthed, out of combat, and my mag and stam were both ticking down with no visual debuff.

    I'm sure lightning ballista drains magicka, don't quote me on that though

    Yes. About 1k per tick.
