Fix weapon traits ZOS!!! why is sharpened the only viable offensive trait???

Buff the others greatly to get them on par with Sharpened!!

Though I doubt you will even address that by Morrowind, it has to be done before, people get so frustrated from *** drops, but if the other traits were actually viable that wouldnt have been such a huge problem!!

Yeah, it would technically fix RnG too as if other stuff didn't suck so much it wouldn't be so much effort to get a VMA weapon you want.

Sharpened has to be the best.
Or any other trait for that matter.
But this huge difference is absurd.

out of curiosity, what type of buff would be needed to get them to the sharpened status? I could at least see precise getting an increase so that it could *potentially* see the same damage numbers as a sharpened, but ones like decisive I cant really see what type of buff would be good enough for me to slot it over sharpened.

Precise isnt TERRIBLE on my PvP heavy armor spinners magplar. Even though impen blows my crit, its still more damage. If i made the switch to light armor with spinners it would be even better but...meh, i would agree with you ultimately the other traits need to be better

At least they didn't me Nirnhoned the only viable trait. That would have been the worst!

They don't have much incentive to fix it, as it keeps people grinding away to get the perfect weapons. It's undoubtedly deliberate.

Outliers in a function should be brought in line. If something is vastly under-performing it should be buffed. If something is vastly over-performing it should be nerfed.

Percise, Infused, and Nirnhorned are mostly balanced to each-other. Sharpened is the one trait that grossly over-performs and causes power inflation/creep.

The solution is not to buff up everything else and potentially break the balance of that gear. The solution is to bring sharpened back in-line.

That said, PvE players (and PvP player too, to an extent) hate losing power. Even when it's necessary for the health of the game.

If the other traits are buffed up to the same level as sharpened (which is impossible since there will always be a mathematically optimal trait), what would be the point of having different traits? Why not just get rid of traits altogether? Which I am for, by the way. The only reason traits are there is so that we have something to grind for, but there are better ways to entice grind.

I could at least see precise getting an increase so that it could *potentially* see the same damage numbers as a sharpened, but ones like decisive I cant really see what type of buff would be good enough for me to slot it over sharpened.

So the decisive trait gives 34% chance to gain 1 ultimate, when you gain ultimate.

If part of this text were changed to "gain 100 ultimate", it would be broken OP, obviously you would take it over sharpened.

So that means that there is a threshold between the current "garbage" value of 1 ultimate and that broken value of 100 ultimate at which decisive is balanced.

If decisive gave 100% chance for 1 extra ultimate, it would be really good, yet sharpened will be better most of the time, butbat least it does something reliable.

    This is just an example

I would love a trait that applies a taunt to an attack for 10 seconds every 15 seconds.

PS Let us taunt more then 3 enemies at a time.

Well I get how it could be OP but I was asking, more along the lines of "how would you take something like decisive and make it AS GOOD as sharpened. I was just having trouble seeing that part of it.
