Provisioning writs broken?

Arragnox
Arragnox
I was just wondering if the daily provisioning writs are broken? I can only get CP50 writs to complete and maybe once or twice, CP150 writs.

I don´t have all recipies in the game, but I have quite a few, even a few legendary ones and have maxed skills in passives as well, but just can`t seem to get higher writs.
Any ideas for what I could do to increase the chance?

There is a chance that they drop at all levels, but chances are *believed* to be higher when you have more known recipies and get the CP150 daily rather than the CP50 one.

For BS it seems they have shown that the more motifs other than the regular blue ones you have, the higher the chance is for one to drop *and* that it drops with more vouchers in reward.

But only ZOS knows the real deal so I guess we just have to wait and see.. Frustrating none the less, I would like to get, at least, a shot at the psijic recipe..

Yes, @ZOS_JessicaFolsom mentioned somewhere that provisioning writs did not drop as often as intended. Was supposed to be fixed "soon" but I guess it hasn't been fixed yet.

In craglorn and other cities, both a chef and brewer can be found with all recipes used in writs(1,3k each tho).

Just noticed that OP is referring to standard writs, not master writs.
Yes, those have been requiring both CP50 and CP150 meals and drinks, since One Tamriel.
It's been mentioned here several times, but we never got any answer whether it was intended or not.
MAybe the master writ bug is related to that and both issues will be solved at once (yes, I'm optimistic ;-) )

Ok, so it`s basically just to wait and see if it gets fixed. My blacksmithing & Clothing writs are always max lvl so, hopefully they get provision fixed soon (tm)

    Thanks though

This is from the 3/5 patch notes:

    Crafting & Economy
General •Fixed an issue that prevented Sealed Provisioning Writs from being awarded as often as intended.

But...last night, my husband got a regular CP50 writ again, so I'm guessing that whatever issue was affecting the drop rate for Master Provisioning Writs wasn't related to the fact that we can only get the CP150 writs about 50% of the time.

@ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom Is there any word on whether this is intended or a bug from One Tamriel with moving top tier writs back to Craglorn? Unless MWs are gonna have a chance to drop from the Tier 6 writs that we get half the time, then they better have a really good drop rate from the Tier 7 writs to make up for the fact that half the time we have zero chance at one.

I can confirm you can get Master Writs from the VI Provisioning writ reward crates after the last patch.

I also got a psijic ambrosia fragment yesterday from a tier6 reward. However I am not sure whether this was extreme luck or that they changed the loot pools from 6 and 7 to be the same..

I've received one or two fragments on my alts who are doing Tier 2 and 3 writs. It's extremely rare, but there is a chance. The chance increases with each tier.

A dev posted here that how many purple and gold recipes you know affects your provisioning master writ drop rate. It was phrased in such a way as to imply that how many blue recipes you know doesn't matter.

Is that post believed to be accurate? :) I've certainly been having lousy writ drop rates on a couple of pretty knowledgeable provisioners.
