[BUG]: XP/Skill Loss after using Shrine of Stendarr (PS4)

WARNING: Since the new patch, the Shrine of Stendarr can remove XP/Skills on PS4:
Description: Today, I used the shrine to alter some skills, as I do after almost each large patch. After using the shrine, I found that two of my skills are not available anymore as if I had never leveled them up:
Sorcerer - Bound Aegis IV: This morph is not available anymore.
Instead I am back at Bound Armor III. All XP after this somehow has been lost.
Destruction Staff - Destructive Reach IV: This morph also is not available anymore.
Instead I am back at Destructive Touch I. All XP after has been lost!
Especially the total XP loss for Destructive Reach is painful, because this is one of my most essential skills!
Can ZOS support help restoring these massive losses?

✭✭It's inteded or at least something zos does not care about. It happens every time when they move skills around in a skill tree.
You may have noticed, the skills got moved down in the skill tree. As the xp required to morph a skill strongly depends on its position in the skill tree, those skills now don't have enough xp stored to be morphed.Edited by lolo_01b16_ESO on March 14, 2017 11:05AM0 -

- one of my most important skills is not available anymore
- I have lost XP worth of weeks
In years, I never had such problems with the Shrine of Stendarr.
If the Shrine is such a BUGGY MESS now, it should be closed for repairs...
At least ZOS should give people a fair warning that skills can be lost...0 -

✭It is not the shrine that has a bug but rather the skill total XP since it moved in the skill tree. I feel your pain though as I had to relevel the same skills"If a stick of fish is a fish stick, it will stick like other fish sticks stick"

✭✭✭Thanks for the explanation. If I understand correctly, what happened is this:
1. A game developer changed the basic database structure.
2. The customer database records have not been changed accordingly.
3. Result: The database structure does not match the customer database records.
If this is true, it would be a disrespectful to hurt customers assets knowingly because of sloppy programming.Edited by BalticBlues on March 14, 2017 3:02PM0
