Does Major Evasion have a chance to dodge boss mechanics (e.g. red circle, targetted deadly attacks)

So if I have Shuffle active and am in a red circle of a vet dungeon boss, does it give me a 20% chance of dodging the deadly damage?

And if I am attacking Captain Blackheart with Shuffle, does it give a chance to dodge the skeleton transformation if I am the one targetted?

Major Evasion should be working the same way as a normal dodgeroll. Can you dodgeroll the skele transform if you rolldodge in time? If yes, Major Evasion will give you a chance of that happening without having to actually dodge, if no (which I believe to be the case), then it won't.

For instance you it can help you dodge the fat skulls Nerien'eth throws at you in COH II, but you can also totally dodge them yourself.

Far as aoes go I'm not actually sure. Yes aoes can obviously be dodged but I think in that case it's the dodgeroll taking you out if their range that prevents the damage as opposed to dodging granting you immunity to the aoe damage, period. What Major Evasion does is basically a rolldodge in place so I don't think it'd work on an aoe.
At least I'm fairly sure that's how it *should* work.

Only physical aoe can be dodge. Like vma poison bubbles. Things like liquid lightening no.
