I personally found it easier to run enough health glyphs to get where i need to be, and use wrothgar food for max stam and stam recovery. I shoot for 19k health and 30k to 33k stam.

For money saving:
Run purple/epic stam glyphs on smaller piecess.
eg gloves- kuta gives 350ish, purple gives 320ish. I recommend Kutas on big pieces though.

Also I recommend going all stam and to gain health: use food, undaunted passives, attribute points.

For stam toons you only want to enchant your armor with max stam, as others have pointed out. You're best bet is to make them with purple enchants, save gold for jewelry and enchants.
