I've watched a couple YouTube walkthroughs for this quest and it seems that when Mannimarco appears he first hits Abnur and talks to Lyris. Instead, after "Wait, what?" he just appears and instantly one-shots me dead. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

MAEK✭✭✭✭You might be standing to far away. There will be a circle around the place where Mannimarco is standing, and anything that leaves it dies. If you're standing in the middle though I have no idea what's going on.0 -
Sylo78✭✭Had this problem as well. The first time I was definitely outside of the barrier. The second time I was in the barrier, fighting one of the skeleton ads. The third time right after it started he did his one shot move while I was strafing. So for the fourth time I simply did not move and managed to get past it.0
