Proposed idea

So I thought I would put this idea out there for ZOS and the community to kick around:

We have access to a lot of really nice motifs to customize our characters in a huge number of ways. This was awesome while crafted sets were still worth anything, but in keeping with ZOS's designs for the game- all the good stuff drops from dungeons now. I don't really have a problem with that, per se. My biggest complaint with that system is that things for a specific set tend to ONLY be available in ONE style. That's rather limiting, don't you think? All this time and money was spent developing cool styles that we will never get to use! You force players to chose between power or style- this will not do!

I propose the following solution to this issue- crafters of level 50 in whatever discipline (blacksmithing, clothier, or woodworking) be able to re-style an item of that type into any known pattern, even if its only possible with crown gems, just make it POSSIBLE! It doesn't change the items properties, just how it appears. A rubedite great sword with precise would still be that, just in a different style chosen by the crafter. I feel that THIS would make leveling crafting and chasing motifs a more worth while endeavor. I appreciate everyone's thoughts on this, especially ZOS.

The only unique thing crafted sets have that drop sets dont is style control.

drop sets have monster 2 pc, jewel/wpn 3pc, mael/dsa 1-2pc wpn sets and jewels for every 5pc set as their "unique to drop sets".

    Crafted have style control.

So... no lets not give that up for nothing at all in return.
