Band Camp statements: To state "But this one time I saw X doing X... so that justifies X" Refers to the Band camp statement.

I remember a prevoius game and players would QQ about balance changes to what was my main class. Saying it was no longer viable as a healer. Yet the numbers at the end of PvP matches I was in said otherwise and effectiveness in raids had not diminished. Survival skills, defensive CDs were solid. Not sure what the meant by not viable.
I had a different reaction when I played 14 again.
Wow, the crafting mini-game requires some skill. There's an auction house! The LFG tool works great. There's a minimal cash shop. No gambling with real money! A sub buys it all. Not limited to 5 skills at a time. Lots of different classes. Mutli-classing.
Every game mechanic worked better. If only it had the Tamriel skin instead.

Rohamad, do 10 % of today's mmos really have graphics which makes ESO look subprime in comparison? If so, which mmos are we talking about? And do they have content which are as captivating as ESO?

Most of this is just 'I died to X class/build in PvP once so it's OP,' or 'I want my uber-top-dps glass cannon build to also be a tank.'
There are some legitimate complaints as well, but far less.
The only bits of balance that I will actually point out are systemic ones, like CP or the lack of caps. Things which affect the entire game's potential for balance.
Other than that...there's a reason I've been playing this MMO for several years and most MMO's get on average a few months from me. (Other than some of the old greats like Ultima Online, Shadowbane, Star Wars Galaxies, etc.) Every other recent MMO has been a piece of theme park WoW-cloned garbage or a Korean MMO-inspired grind-fest/p2w supermarket.

I loved Shadowbane and I had some awesome PvP fun there. I've not done much PvP since those days though .. nothing really feels as fun to me.
I also loved playing a centaur race

I have been searching through many mmo's pvp to try and find something that brings some of the excitement shadowbane gave.

My decade comment above was a bit hyperbolic, which would have been clearer if I had written that ESO is a "millennia ahead of the competition".
I still defend cheerful whining in this forum, because the devs have a habit of creating content that is not spectacular compared to many action games today. For example, I can pay 15k for a house, but then it must be fracking awesome, not mundane and average.
But other mmos sure put all the faults of ESO in perspective.
