Idea - Dual Wield - New Passive - Weapon Mastery

This passive would work as follows:

When you have two weapons of the same type equipped, gain the following bonus:

Axes: heavy attacks restore an additional 30% stamina

Maces: heavy attacks have a 50% chance of setting an enemy off balance.

Swords: Heavy attacks deal 20% more damage.

Daggers: Heavy Attacks no longer restore stamina, but reduce the Heavy attack charge time by 60%

Thoughts? Ideas? Criticism?

Idea for partial bonuses, after looking at:
While the creativity is great, from a build stand point these changes would force everyone (competitively speaking) into using two of the same weapons. As it is now at least people have a fair choice between doubling up on one or splitting and getting half of two different bonuses. In my opinion your proposed changes would reduce build diversity instead of help.

If something equally effective was introduced along side your suggestion for those that didn't use the same weapons, I'd be more interested.

Each Axe increases stamina gain from heavy attacks by 15%

Each Mace causes heavy attacks to have a 25% additional chance of setting an enemy off balance.

Each Sword Causes heavy attacks to deal 10% more damage

Each dagger reduced stamina gain from heavy attacks by 50% and decreases heavy attack charge time by 30%

Id rather take the critical chance bonus with my daggers instead of the faster heavy attacks.

Welp, just some thoughts. First off you would need to either get rid of a passive to make room or give all the other weapons additional passives. 2nd as stated above it would pigeon hole people into using 2 of the same weapon. Lastly most of the passives that you suggested just seem undesirable to me. For pve and pvp already have sustain without having to heavy attack all the time so slotting axes would be worthless. There are already sets that give minor fracture, so again, why bother? Sword are meh, but 20% on a heavy is so bland and insignificant. Daggers, less time charging a heavy attack? Ooo k? But they already moved away from increased attack speed when they reworked traits.

Fair enough, perhaps adding in variants, or partial effects would be a better decision, I.E.:

Each Axe increases stamina gain from heavy attacks by 15%

Each Mace causes heavy attacks to ignore 630 Physical resistance.

Each Sword Causes heavy attacks to deal 10% more damage

Each dagger reduced stamina gain from heavy attacks by 50% and decreases heavy attack charge time by 30%

This is an additional passive, not one that replaces Twin blade and blunt. Think of the destro staff weapon passive and how it has Tri Focus and Ancient Knowledge passives.

Hmm, yeah. if it was to replace any of them, I'd likely want it to replace Dual Wield Expert Passive. could even keep the name though. redid the mace heavy attack one, might increase the damage or remove stam penalty on the swords. I wish that they didn't move away from attack speed so builds were not pigeon holed into weaving to maximize damage. (since sets that increase light and heavy damage would have good synergy with light/heavy attack builds). I would love suggestions on how to make these heavy attack passives more interesting if you have any ideas.
