DLCs drop more heartwood than Tamriel proper?

Totally unscientific, but I seem to be finding more heartwood in Hew's Bane and Wrothgar than I am in Storm Haven, Rivenspire, etc.

I was farming over the weekend and chopped about 30 wood nodes in the Tamriel properties without finding a single heart. Jumped over to Hew's Bane and found two in the first five nodes I checked.

Most likely RNG, but just wondering whether anyone else has noticed similar drops.

Yes I have noticed this as well. The heartwood drop rate is stupidly low right now and needs to be increased.

Double the items received from crafting nodes in Hew's Bane (This only applies to normal crafting nodes, not nodes spawned from Survey Reports.)

Is it possible you're getting more from the TG anniversary event?

But in regards to dlcs, was actually thinking about sending in a ticket as there was no damn wood let alone heartwood anywhere when wandering around Gold Coast today. None. At all.

And this wasn't due to someone running ahead & farming (they're all in Hew's Bane). There was just none.

Finally found a scrap of maple. But nowt else. And I looked.

I got 4 heartwood from one wood node yesterday in Stros M'kai...

STARTER ISLANDS GIVE MORE HEARTWOOD THAN DLC, WHICH GIVE MORE HEARTWOOD THAN REST OF WORLD

I feel that the stating islands at lest the Khaiit one has more of it.
Started an new character and she got all the achievements for getting them at once.

And since I don't participate in the Housing at all, I'm making some good money at it.

Yeah, I was feeling sorry for the non-ESO plus members when I noticed that one. I've been to Wrothgar twice and the Imperial City once on master writs.

I think ya'll just have crap RNG. I don't even go out seeking these mats and I have 300+ heartwood right now. (Also note, I haven't started my Hew's Bane double resource farm yet either - all I have is from vanilla zones).

I did notice I got more heartwood from Gold Coast than anywhere else, but still could just be RNG. I seem to get more bast from Glenumbra, which I hardly find in the DLC zones, so it's all over the place.

I've thought of that too and it scares the hell out of me. Imagine how bad the drop rate will be after the event ends.
