Maybe a place where there are lots of Ruby Ash nodes that replenish fairly quickly. It seems this is the rarest furniture mat drop for me.

✭✭✭✭✭Unfortunately, the drop is random ... but you can improve your chances of heartwood anywhere there is a high density of wood nodes to begin with.0 -

✭✭The drop rate seems to be stupidly low - was out just harvesting as normal tonight & got heartwood maybe once for every 10 logs roughly or so it seemed.
Either that or I was finding nodes where some lovely person had just taken the heartwood & left the usual stufy (grrr).
Although did get a mine node that only had regulus...which was odd. Nice, but odd.0 -

farm gold, buy at stores, craft aplenty.
Much faster than chasing the mats that your playstyle doesn't find easily.
In my play, heartwood is above average within the seven or so rare furnishing mats - coming in third best out of them. And i dont farm.
between my best two most outgoing top harvesters:
resin 113
pelt 63
heart 55
bast 43
regulus 39
rune 42
wax 34
heart wood is in the upper half
of course i have more than that and have used plenty - guild stores.Proudly skooma free while talks-when-drunk is in mandatory public housing.

✭✭✭✭✭Yes, one option is to simply farm nodes, sell the stuff and buy heartwood, any you find is an bonus.

RavenRoxie✭✭✭✭Hue Hue's Bane is pretty good right now, with the double nodes event going on. There are alot of people farming there though. I didn't have any trouble finding ash wood there though, and got lots of heartwood
