If they made it a token it would be 5,000 or 10,000 for class change. I am fine with that.
Would be nice to have it as class balance can change.
But I guess it should not be usable on the first month of Morrowind or everybody would be level 50 warden in 30secs of game...

But they have changed their mind in the past, so... who knows?

I have twelve level 50 toons, just level one. I hope they never have such crap.

I levelled 11 toons to 50 in a little over a week during one of the double xp holidays. Levels are nothing.
It's all the other character bound stuff which is the problem.
Horse feeding and researching traits takes 6 months. Bag upgrades, motifs, achievements cost a *** ton of gold. Or worse, cost real money and can't be bought again because they were a limited time crown store offering.

Actually I suspect that's the main reason they're not offered.
If people pay to change class then the class changes significantly - which does happen - have they been cheated? Legally speaking.
I don't think anyone knows the answer to that question because there's no comparable situation. When buying real things, real things don't substantially and without warning change. But some digital things, eg. classes, do.But I guess it should not be usable on the first month of Morrowind or everybody would be level 50 warden in 30secs of game...
Oh please. Anyone can do 0 to 50 in under a day and with minimal effort on a dolmen train. What we can't do is the 6 month horse feeding or trait research grind, etc. etc.
And this is why I haven't bought Morrowind yet and might never. I'm not deleting characters who were made in expectation of the long-promised spellcrafting (including nature themed spells) if there's no free class change to warden for them.

To eliminate "cheating" you can have the class token only work on a class you've leveled to 50. So no changing class to a Warden right away.
Thank you. A lot of people seem to think the road to lvl 50 is something relevant at all, when it is nothing.

It would be a good way to get classes more balanced so that we don't see 10000 nightblades to every 1 dragonKnight. I know im gonna get a lot of crap for this but I wish they would do away with classes and just focus on balancing skill lines.
So you could for example pick one skill line for each class up to three. Like one nightblade skill line and two Templar skill lines and so on.
