What do you think about these prices? Are you happy or upset? Do you plan on purchasing this awesome home now or are you planning on waiting for a Crown Sale.

The price is more reasonable than I had feared. I was really afraid they would charge much, much more than that.

I have about half of the crowns needed now.
I think a few of my characters might be moving in soon

The cavern is a solid purchase. 13k seems exploitative considering the other large manor class homes arent near that price point ($25 extra USD). I would be much more sold on this (no pun intended) if i knew if it came with a title attached.

- Some players don't use their ESO+ crowns, at all - so they may have 13-17k in crowns available.
- Crowns were/can be purchased during sales - making the price roughly 40% cheaper.
- Combination of the 2 options above
- Only 1k more than a house you can purchase with virtual gold.

There is no gold price for the house. It's a crown price only. I'd rather wait for it to hit sale and spend the $$$ on Tahiti that should be hitting in a few months.

What i was going to say:

"Ok so the larger homes are very much priced for the crown purchase vs the gold purchase. But even then i went with the multiple small/med etc option for a reason, the numbers are just too good." So, no real interest in buying this or any of the very appealing mega-price houses."

And for this one in particular the location sucks.

Now...

After heading there for the actual preview, i gotta say things a bit differently.

First, would not pay 13000 crowns for unfurnished. Gotta go furnished. if you are gonna lay out the $$$ get the furnishings. you can spread them to others and it gives you tons of allowances left over so... no brainer its 16300 furnished. go for it.

Second, location may be odd cuz when i left the demo it took me directly to belkarth. i was not originally in belkarth so... i want to know from someone who owns it - does leaving the cavern normally take you to belkarth or that place way out in the boonies where the cavern is? if it warps you to Belkarth, thats YUGE.

Third, holy crap! thats beautiful and tons of tons of space. A lot of it is water but if i can put platforms out there, planks walkways etc... there is a ton of options for that place. imagine putting a big platform/plank flooring for a large sqaure or hexagonal "arena" floating out in the water? Sure, lots to test out there to be sure what works and what doesn't but... damn.

Also, could be great for the nomadic caravan settlement with lotsa wagons and beddings and all that jazz.

the preview did its job for me...

it moved me from "nah not gonna" to "wow, lotsa ideas here. So... maybe."

but, not today.

i will take seven days... then reconsider.

or maybe... wait for Morrowind.

£60 -70 for virtual real estate, sounds crazy to me.

Just because it is less than what you feared, doesn't mean it is well priced.

It's 1.5 times the RRP of ESO (Gold Edition)..

It's basically the same price as the Morrowind Collectors Edition, which contains the entire game, the morrowind expansion, aswell as book, map and statue.

I really hope none of you guys buy this, or i'm never going to be able to afford anything on the CS again...

What's wrong with you people... with your acceptance on this the prices will be higher and higher. Is there even any limit for you?

I like the remote location of this and there is a wayshrine outside that isnt that far.

If you leave via the door, it puts you outsidentify the house if you own it, but correct me if I'm wrong, but doesnt a house function as a wayshrine and can't you port to a wayshrine for free?

Everyone has different perspectives. EX: You just resubbed your ESO+ for 6 months and now have 9,000 crowns. Maybe buying a crown pack for $40 doesn't seem so steep.

EX 2: Last crown sale you bought (2)Large Packs for $50 total - giving you 11K crowns + resubbed for 6 months = 20K crowns.

What a con. Not much point keeping a sub going nowadays. Those 1500 crowns have been really devalued with the skyrocketing CS prices.

You can port TO a house for free, but not from a house for free.
