This, ZoS has no influence on that MS does, MS has decided you have to pay them to play online games on xbox.
geez why am i paying xbox live $10 per month to play eos when if you play on pc you pay 0!

Yes its a bit unfair, its supposed to pay for the servers hosted at MS who is used for the online games but an MMO like ESO uses their own server park.
As I understand Sony don't demand payment if you only play MMO.
Band Camp statements: To state "But this one time I saw X doing X... so that justifies X" Refers to the Band camp statement.

Paying a "service fee" to play a video game online is a pure cash grab by the console manufacturers. But they can get away with it because they jave a monopoly over their player base.

Yes, they have a deal with Sony, understood ESO would get the same if it stayed sub.Jemcrystal wrote: »MLGProPlayer wrote: »It's sad that console gamers still put up with this *** in 2017.

@MLGProPlayer
Respectfully I comprehend that many people are unaware of what they are paying for.
It's a really awesome service which turns out to be the least cost for cloud based gaming services on any platform.
What you're paying for:
-24 hour cloud game, save, profile access and backup
-voice chat across the entire network and unhinged from any game but accessible during any game
-Cloud based DVR with Many gigs or 1-2 TB of storage
-Managed friends lists
-Access to create Clubs or clans which can hold over 50,000 unique members per club (you can create multiple and join multiple others and this can handle over 20 different games at a time per club)
-weekly digital game discounts
-game specific Dev announcements
That's to name the highlights that I benefit from.
Compare what you'd pay and the time it would take to set this up and manage it yourself monthly just for your PC friends. $59/year isn't even close to the PC cost of a Voice chat server alone.....now add in a guild site, and cloud save secure backup for just your guild and then multiply that by each game that you'd need it for when services don't extend or handle multiple games all at once intuitively.
