Whisper Chat Bugged?

Doesn't seem like I'm the only person having an issue sending whispers to certain players. I'm in Hews Bane farming with a huge group of peeps and people are obvs privately negotiating trade offers via whispers but the whispers aren't being sent. So you write a msg, hit send, nothing happens and the msg gets deleted. Just want to bring this problem to light. Are the devs aware? Should I post a thread on bugs?

EDIT: ISSUE ON XBOX ONE EU SERVER (for me) Not sure if this is happening Elsweyr (pun intended)

Yes, please. I've seen the same, on XBOX. It cost me a lot of gold on a master-writ deal the other day -- I couldn't wisper back to the guy who made me the best offer. Grrrr.

There was a guy trying to annoy and trick people by saying that. But I know its not true because it lets me send whipsers to certain people once in a while and then it bugs out again. It's definitely not social ban.

OP. The only time the Whisper doesn't show up is when the person you're messaging either signed out to switch character, closed application on either XBOX or PS4 or has their status either in-game or on XBOX/PS profile set to offline/away/do not disturb.

Are you sure these people weren't in offline mode? I have a few friends who love setting selves to offline as they farm/jump alts, then forgetting all about it and whispering me...I usually send them a mail telling them they're offline, then they usually get online and I can tell them how potato they are in person

Few things to consider

Console whisper is with the gamertag so IF you or they have settings to limit, ban or block communication on their Xbox live profile, it impacts this.

Another thought is this....there is a player not found bug which can occur (not sure why) when I link things to zone and it suggests I'm the player not found.

Xboxlive doesn't show any issues that would be related

It's not fun when I'm stuck on a certain boss for like 2hrs and then ppl whisper me to run vMoL!
