Do master provision writs really exist? (PS4 NA)

I'm wondering if anyone has seen one. My friend and I do max level provision writs on 8 toons each, lol. When I started two years ago I tried to collect every recipe w my main, so he knows all the golds and all but 2-3 of the purples. Yet despite getting writ quests for about 750 vouchers on other things, no provision writ has ever generated.

    It's entirely RNG with some bonus for having the corrent requirements to boost them.

    This was me on one character today (albeit PC) after four days of nothing.

    If your asked to make CP10 to CP50 items, then your not going to get the writ container that drops them, only CP100 to CP150 items get you the right container.

    Even then, they are a 2 Voucher Writ for a Purple item, and the Gold Items give 10 Vouchers, and I think you have to have Perfect Roe for most of those so it's an expensive thing to make for a 10 vouchers. (the fishing enhancing recipe doe not not I think)

    In other words your not missing much.
    Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

    Bingo! I've had two 10-voucher provisioning master writs and each one required that I make eight gold Orzorga's foods. That's four perfect roe for 20 vouchers. Last I checked, perfect roe are selling for around 9k gold each whereas vouchers are pricing around 2500 each (via master writ sales). This gives the vouchers around a 39% price advantage.

    I have received 1 provisioning master writ for 8 psijic ambrosias - so 2 perfect roe like everyone else has said.

    I don't have an issue doing them because I have a good supply of perfect roe and over 1000 fish not yet filleted. If I had to buy the roe I would probably sell the writs.

    Yes. I had to find a stupid recipe that was worth well over 50k in every trader! I ALMOST gave into buying it, but my conscience told me to check and smaller trader and there I found it for 3k and was listed that same day :}

    I received a master writ last night that uses a green purple recipe for 2 writ vouchers. It is now my second provisioning writ and I got it on a much lower character - one that would know no gold recipes and very few (if any) purples.

    Be nice if there was a way to explain what basis these writs drop; I am resigned to put it all down to RNG and luck. My most experienced crafter is now way behind on both the number or writs, and vouchers returned, compared to my other characters.
