    Not sure what kindof answer you're looking for...it's a tank set that's no more/less useless then the rest. Most end game tanks would say every other set besides ebon/alkosh/powerful assault are useless. Im also sure some tanks out there use it...i guess if i didnt have powerful assault/alkosh for off tanking, MAYBE id consider using bastion...so no, i guess not useless

    You are welcome captain rudious.

    It's an alright tanking set used during times when your group is going to be taking massive damage. Such as add stack fights. Where overchargers and poisons are going off constantly hitting your group. This set helps to mitigate a nice amount of that damage. But if it's a stack and burn with easily healable or avoidable damage, you out on another set. It's just another tool in a tanks arsenal.

    Looks cool and every time you pop a synergy everyone around you gets a 2500 damage shields every 2 seconds or so.

    It's not the most useful tanking set but if I was in a group with dps that were challengers with mechanics and OT was wearing ebon I'd slot lunar to help keep the players alive. Would already have Alkosh to the synergies would be doing double duty.

    I disagree with Giles.floydub and I think he is wrong about it being the most useful tanking set.
