They have already commented on this months ago. Good job...not paying attention. It's not being banned. Btw you hurt only your self, there are now add ons that do incredible things that make Miats add on look like a kindergarten level but they won't be on any public forum.

They can't ban an add-on for using the API they supply.

Direct your anger at ZOS allowing add-ons to read this information and ask them to remove it from the API (if that's how it's getting the information) instead of blaming the add-on for using it.

Personally I am on the side of ZOS shouldn't allow any API data in Cyrodiil as it's the only "fair" way to have the game. However I know there are so many add-ons which are basically crutches to PvP play now.

Miat posted a thread stating he updated the add on and explained what it can and can not do anymore . The notification from stealth attack is no longer possible with the API change so it acts more like Combat Cloud now with added noise alerts to projectiles . I don't see that as being the same problem it was with alerting players of stealthed enemies in the area and notifications of stealth attacks in the previous version . He is just using what is left available to continue the addon with some features already available in other addons and a few new like player alt search . I didn't see that as anything banable and I was critical of the previous version so I am not biased .

ESO is the most fair game, there are no cheaters in this game. NO ONE USE MACRO.
There is NO LAG in this game.

I hate to break it to you but PvP hasn't been fair since the game launched and allowed add-ons. I am pretty sure you use a bunch of these advantages already and don't complain about it.

Old Advantages

• Vanilla players couldn't see HP numbers, add-ons gave that information.
• Vanilla players couldn't see damage numbers, add-ons gave that information.
• Vanilla players couldn't see ultimate values, add-ons gave that information.

Current Advantages

• Vanilla players have to check map to see what's under attack, add-ons give you HUD/Chat notifications (including flag changes).
• Vanilla players can't see what class someone is, add-ons give that information.
• Vanilla players can't change/move UI elements, add-ons give this feature.
• Vanilla players can't get pop-up text for when to use skills, add-ons give this information.
• Vanilla players have to manually change skills/gear, add-ons allow you set-ups with one button swaps.
• Vanilla players can't see buff times on screen, add-ons allow this.

There are a lot more than this I am sure, but don't act like this is one special case of a balance breaking add-on. Balance was broken and "fair" was thrown out the window the moment they allowed add-ons. If you want to stay competitive download all of the ones which are now required to do so, if you don't want any add-on and a fair playing field then get a console and play there.

Tested the new version out, the projectile stuff isn't even that great. The only thing it might be useful for now is that you can quickly gauge how many players of each faction are in a location(not sure if it counts the ones in stealth).

I don't want to see add-ons go, but I have to be honest here. Using add-ons does give an unfair advantage over Vanilla players.
One add-on I find most usefull and feeling like a hack, is the one that saves and shows all gathering nodes on the map and even on the field with markers. These markers are the perfect (even better) replacement for the Keen eye skills.

Why waste 15 skill points on all Keen eye passives, if an add-on can show you clearly what crafting material is located where? The only thing keen eye does that this add-on can't, is show all crafting nodes close to you, not just the ones you've already gathered. But honestly, I spot crafting nodes easily, so going through the effort to find them all (or most of them) is way better than spending 15 skill points on the Keen eye passives.

If you play PvP and you always watch those information.
I think you are strange enough.

You always can see someone who can dodge your attack every time.
Someone who can hit you 5~30 times in one shot.
Someone who do damage so quickly that combat log can't detect.

I found some AD or EP Players' sieges are quick than us and more powerful.
I fire once, they already fire twice.
They can destroy my siege with full health in 3 hits.
Maybe CP make that effect.

And so on.


The most important thing is I don't see ZOS do anything to make Cyrodiil better.
Miat's addon is only the tip of the iceberg.

I just come here to tell what I saw.
I think I do fine in Cyrodiil and most important thing is I don't cheat.

This could be exactly as you say or it could be you've missed something that we see when we watched it.

In another MMO I played PvP groups would often film all their PvP and play it back to assess their own mistakes or pick apart failed battles.

idk how people play this game without addons. How did the devs expect people to keep track of dots - thats at the very basic level.

its almost like. . . they spoke to addon authors and knew from the start theyd do this portion of the work for them and then paid them to do it (under the table) and then paid homage to these authors by coding an easter egg into Imperial City Prison with that authors name on it. . .
