I do most thing alone over and pvp. For the simple reason that a lot of people you group with don't understand what teamwork is and probably don't know the definition. Where's the fun if it's all about dps and speeding through everything.

I'm sure you don't suck OP, you play how you intend to play. You measure your skill based on if what you achieve with your build and the entertainment you get is the intended outcome for the way you play.

Oooo me me !! I hate voice chat and typing takes to long plus if I wanted to talk to people I would talk to the people in my house. Now I do play with my husband but he doesn't count

Not in the sense that they are running around a zone with other people, fighting co-operatively with them at dolmens, in delves, and with world boss mobs, fishing alongside them, crafting alongside them, competing with them for nodes, trading with them, and in many cases in a guild with them - not to mention attacking them in PvP land.

It's funny how sociable a multiplayer game can seem once you drop the pretence that being formally grouped in combat is the only way of socialising in a multiplayer game!

Sure, we are around a lot of other players. My point would be, I do not group at dolmens, as an example. Only group when absolutely necessary.
Cyrodiil is a completely different ball game on the other hand.

I enjoy playing alone because I am unsociable and like to do what I want, how I want, when I am good and ready. There is nothing worse for me than to befriend a player who starts up a party chat or sends you a group invite the minute you log on - even if you are not in the same area or doing the same thing.

I have one regular friend I play with and we usually just group up to do daily pledges or doing some character leveling before leaving the group and going our own separate ways and this suits me perfectly. We could each spend 8 hours playing on a weekend and only group up together for 2 or 3 hours rather than be in each others pockets all the time.

Questing is best done alone as I see it, no real reason to group. Yes if you are two real life friends it can be fun.
Same with most exploring or farming.
Doing public dungeons in an small group is an benefit, if you are low level or low skills that is more important.

Join some social guilds, its fun and people are very helpful. You don't have to chat more than you want.
You are also likely to get some tips on how to get better.

Back before one Tamriel we had two low level players pretending to RP in Cyrodil. level 15 guy played lute for his level 10 girlfriend who danced in underwear.
Everybody fell for it, one guy even twice. Took an hour before they stopped us
