Way of martial knowledge

Is this still a decent set to run or has it gotten left behind in terms of usefulness?

If you not pursuing to have a meta build then its good for stacking spell damage (up to the 4 item bonus). I use it on all my 12 characters.

Its not meta, but it is still viable (moreso than most sets). I run it on my DK and still pull endgame level dps.

No. Although you would probably be better using 3 pc moondancer and a random sharp staff.

Sharp is the most OP thing in all of tamriel.

I've actually pulled very good numbers recently with charged staffs and the spinner 5-piece man, works on all magicka classes for ~35k dps on the dummy by yourself, even more with an optimised rotation. Combined with a lightning blockade and a shock enchant, it's really good, especially in Solo and 4-man content. Buffs nearly everyone now that most people put 75 points in thaumaturge.

I'm the designated buffguy in our raids (and I still lack a sharpened moondancer/ia inferno or lightning), so my builds center around this idea and I'm still pulling ahead of many people with BiS-gear (I usually compare my dps based on the percentage that combat metrics shows, if I'm constantly over 12.5% I'm good).
