Crash to desktop every time I open game.

Just like the title says, every time i hit "play" on the launcher, the game opens then immediately crashes me back to the desktop. I cant get in at all.

It's possible that the opening cinematic is causing this issue. In this case, you edit the User Settings file to skip the cinematic.

First, navigate to the UserSettings file:

My Documents\The Elder Scrolls Online\Live\UserSettings.txt

Find these settings (pressing control+F and searching 'pregamevideo' helps):
•SET SkipPregameVideos "0"
•SET HasPlayedPregameVideo "0"

Change both zeros to ones, so that the lines appear like this:
•SET SkipPregameVideos "1"
•SET HasPlayedPregameVideo "1"

That will have your game skip the opening cinematic and allow you to get to the character selection screen.
