Quest AP rewards will remain doubled.

@ZOS_GinaBruno does that include "kill players" type quests, scouting reports, etc, or just the town's?

    Is said that quest AP will remain doubled, not type of quests so I guess either all or all PvP quests.
    Taking resources will just give 3000 AP making switching less effective
    Grinding just make you go in circles.
    Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

    Campaign Changes
    The Cyrodiil performance test with Champion Point removal and double AP gains has concluded. Thanks to everyone for your participation! We have implemented the following changes:
    Keep capture values are back to 6000 AP per capture.
    Resources, Towns and Districts are back to 1500 AP per capture.
    Outposts now grant 3000 AP per capture instead of 6000 AP per capture.
    Player kills and healing values have returned to their normal modifiers.
    Quest AP rewards will remain doubled.

    Oh, thanks for this thread - I didn't notice that in the patch notes.

    I have mixed feelings about that. I actually had a lot of fun in Cyrodiil over the last week, and everything that I did there was to do with the alliance war: taking/defending resources, outposts and keeps, and fighting over strategic choke points (bridges, gates, etc). It felt like there were a ton of people doing the same, and it felt like the way Alliance war PVP was meant to be in this game.

    On the one hand, keeping AP doubled for quests provides me with something I can do solo to gain a decent amount of AP in Cyrodiil when I'm not in the mood for real PVP. On the other hand, will this encourage people to do less actual Alliance war PVP in favour of doing these quests? Maybe, maybe not, I guess I just don't know.

    Also, I had so much fun PVPing on my main (I earned about 570K AP on him last week, which is more than 10X what he has earned in the last 3 years) that I might just make PVPing a more regular part of what I do in-game. And I might just switch to the non-CP campaign for him (although my "other main" needs his CP to keep from getting wrecked in PVP lol).
