Please support crown crates!!

If you decide to spend your money on Crowns... GREAT! I think people should have the freedom to spend their money the way they want. Spending money on these types of products only helps support ZOS and ESO. Subscribe to ESO+ and help bring new chapters into the ESO world. Having disposable money is awesome and if you can afford it more power to you. Feels good to be able to spend my money the way I want.

I wish ppl would stop jumping to the assumption that spending crowns equates to supporting the company same as subscribing to ESO Plus.

What good is money spent when the quality of the game continues to drop, and their employee site continues to grow with opportunities. Little by little, more staff leaves and it's been less than 4 years total since closed beta.

I'd be mindful that making these suggestions could be asking people to support something they may not agree with as we do not get any disclosure on where crown purchases, eso plus are allocated

We don't even know if the money goes to this game at all....it's assumed but I'd much rather players spend their money how they desire and if or when, rather than creating these ideas that buying things supports this game.

We don't know any of this and not once have they suggested that our spending is needed. For all we know, their profits have built in a 2-6 year financial plan and every crown, or eso plus pays for the give always and sponsored trips and bonuses.

Consider the problematic issues they have with eso plus on Xbox one and Steam.....you could be creating the wrong ideas and now crowns don't qualify for chapters, so let's just allow ppl to make their own choices without factual support of how to support ZOS. They've given out a min of 25-30k in free crowns to me alone on Xbox one.

Financially, this can't equate to support as that currency is far off the assumed or established value

Spending money on crown crates does not support ZOS in any way, shape or form. They can afford superbowl commercials, bus banners, tv commercials and much more. They don't need "support". When you see them advertising their game like it's the cure to all diseases and not listening to their community, it becomes pure greed.

It's not a game of chance when it comes to crown crates. It's a game of give ZOS as much money as you can until you get the item you want. They're trying to be sly and get you to gamble your way to items you desire. Sorry, did I say gamble? I meant mortgage your house.

At least people have a choice in ESO and you're not forced to use crown crates in order to unlock special items required for your regular gameplay.

So yeah it's awesome to see so many green mounts lately, alot of support to ESO!

Sure, you can spend money the way you want, but supporting crown crates tells ZOS that you have no standards for game stability and bug fixes, and you're addicted to gambling. It's way easier for them to give you content through gambling crates than to repair a broken game.

Crates weren't to bad for me. I bought 15 crates but didn't get the mounts. I was surprised because some people got 2 mounts out of 15! I guess my RnG is horrible .

Why do people say "I support ZOS" as if ZOS is a charity organization that's out to cure cancer and world hunger? Until ZOS has a viable answer to world peace, I'm not supporting them. What I will do, as a consumer, is purchase services and items from them. But as with anything I buy, I am going to expect a known, quality product for the money that I spend. My relationship with ZOS is as a consumer, not a charitable donor.

Yea, that s@!#... thanks for supporting ESO and ZOS though. RNG can be harsh sometimes. I got three mounts out of 15... I was like WOAH!!!

I've been an ESO+ subscriber since the game launched and if I gave an honest opinion on the state of the game here I'd be permanently banned for the language that I used.

That said I'm glad you're happy with the game, the more playing the better overall.

That is a ridiculous assertion. So in your opinion anyone who spends his monthly Crown allowance from sub's is addicted to gambling.

Using that train of thought...
Uncle Bob is addicted to gambling because he buys one lottery ticket a week, he doesn't care about his community becoming a better place or new parks or roads being built he only cares about his once week lottery ticket addiction.

Yeah....that is a reasonable and rational argument against crown crates. :- |
