You have a great disposable income to spend $220 on a B2P game, and just walk away in 2 days because servers are down. This crap happens in literally every online game at one point or another. I'm sure no one cares about your short lived, but highly profitable life in this game. I am disappointed about the servers being down like most others, but I have the game bought, downloaded, and ready to go, but yeah, you walk away from a game that has the same problems as every other MMO in the world. Get over yourself, child.

BTW, you need to read the ToS again. You signed on for a game that is based online, and you accepted that *** happens. Honestly, the fewer naysayers like you around, the better the game will be for it. Thanks for supporting the game.

Another new player has been given a particularly sour first impression of the game just recently.. While I don't condone how he's behaving, I do sort of see where he-as well as several other new players I'm noticing- are coming from.

I pre order spent tones of crowns real money on this game and even though servers are trash right now I'm sure they will b back to its normal laggy self in no time.

I don't want to bust your bubble, but. You may want to take look at a company called Solyndra (I know not a gaming company) they talked big even had a President brag how big they were, then in a span of a month, doors locked with (ex)employees standing in the parking lot asking "what the heck".

This isn't the first time the servers have been buggy for a few days, and it certainly won't be the last. The odds that this particular time is going to cause ESO to die are incredibly slim

Every gaming forum has people like the O.P. who shout about doomsday everytime there's a hiccup with the game. They then throw up their hands and announce that the game is dying, and it never actually does. The Sims 4 forum has those same people.

If it was server overload, why did it not affect all servers? Why did it really only impact the NA PC server? Why has it not happened previous to this past weekend? ZOS would have monitoring on their servers in regards to incoming traffic. They would be able to tell whether the traffic on it was from normal player information vs directed and intentionally malicious traffic.

It's pretty clear it was a Ddos attack and not sever overload or anything like that.

Those who have experienced a lot of these while playing games can easily identify them over "lag" from bad or overloaded hardware. The difference in "how" the lag plays out is a telltale sign of what is causing it.

People are always quick to throw their thoughts and opinions when they have no idea what they are talking about.

Players who have been here for any length of time KNOW that after a major patch there are always bugs and issues that takes weeks and sometimes months to resolve, sometimes they never do get resolved. Further, we've been experiencing a lot of server issues and maintenance much more frequently since this patch went Live as well... but again, this is nothing new after a patch. However, given the randomness of the server connectivity, how some could log on and others couldn't, are more the signs of a DDOS attack than server overload.

I lost electricity (and internet) for a day due to some tree limbs falling on electric wires - DOOOM. DOOOOOM. that internet provider is going out of business, how dare they!

but seriously, sometimes interruptions in service happen. sometimes its something the company can fix. sometimes its an outside issue. nothing EVER runs perfectly all the time and it was only a few hours.
