Workaround to FIX connection failures if you connect via Steam

So I was having repeated login failures even now that the servers were up and I usually connect via my linked Steam account.
With that said, I found a way that worked for me to resolve the issue that might work for other people as well so I figured I'd post it here.
In your installation folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Zenimax Online\The Elder Scrolls Online\game\client (or something of that nature) and find the launcher of your preference (eso.exe for 32-bit and eso64.exe for 64-bit) and run that. Once it loads you should be prompted to log in with your accounts username and password. If you are successfully able to log in this way, just log out and then restart your launcher with steam and everything should work fine.
I think what was going on was related to a corrupt cached connection or something that was causing the steam launcher to freak out. After doing a "safe" logout it should purge the connection and you should be good to go!
