For one thing the 1050 is not all that powerful of a GPU.
The 50 part of the model designation is the most important really, and a 770 would've done a better job.
Don't know why you got an i5 GPU when you are buying a new computer. This is 2017 right? I understand you might have wanted a cheaper rig. But, throwing a couple hundred dollars more to get i7 would have been muuuuuuch more worthwhile if you had any intention of playing any games on your computer.
Id rather order Papa Johns 20 times than get an i5 rig, even if I hadn't intended to use it for serious gaming.
Go get i7. period.

Pitted against any potential benefit due to HT is the
additional cost of executing with multiple threads. There is
almost certainly going to be a time penalty due to increased
contention in the memory hierarchy. The bottom line is that
we will only see an overall benefit for HT if the time saved
by utilizing the idle resources in the pipeline is greater than the extra time needed due to
memory hierarchy contention.
With a high level of vectorization, the number of execution gaps is very small, and there is possibly insufficient opportunity to make up any penalty due to increased
contention in HT. With a low level of vectorization there is potential for benefit. Thus the level of increased memory hierarchy and network contention will determine whether there is any HT benefit
Disable power saving mode for your GPU to start with and switch to max performance - if you have a new system by default it is in power saver/adaptive mode.
Same for Windows - go to power options and switch to Max performance mode.
Your system is way above recommend specs there is nothing wrong with it. I'm 99% positive it's the power saving modes enabled.

This advice is awesome. Gave me a boost from 20 fps to 60 using higher settings than I normally run.

Wow. That much?
Which card are you using, if you don't mind sharing?

a meeger 650
edit: and I went from low textures / medium subsampling to medium textures / high subsampling
edit2: and to specify that was 20-30 fps with dips to 15 when crowded to 50-60 with dips to 30

hey all,
ty for the replies, but like I also stated, I am not into PC/parts and all the buttons which exist in and on. So when you start about threads, and ports etc, Im getting lost
"Ypu said your graphics card "should be"?"-> It means i read it on the invoice, so it prolly should be in there.
"Disable power saving mode for your GPU to start with and switch to max performance - if you have a new system by default it is in power saver/adaptive mode." -> how do you disable a power saving mode on a GPU (what even means GPU?)
"Quick newbie fixes:
- Close all useless windows and applications. Skype, explorer, youtube, ... -> done, no change in fps
- Turn off your PC, and give it a break. Then restart and try again. -> no change in fps
- Check your Download speed. Your internet may have trouble getting data." -> how to do this 1?
"And no one uses 32 bit anymore."-> that might be so, but why my games starts with this kind of client then? And more importantly how to then turn it to 64

Egonieser's advice was great.
I found out where my low FPS was coming from. So now i play on full maximized settings (even with particles) and the lowest fps i got is 45 for 3 seconds.
Usually im on 55-60 FPS all the time nowit is awsome to play like that, night and day difference from before.
