Here is how I beat the Error 200:
Open Zos file in Program Files/ Launcher/ rename Program Data file to Program Data Backup.
Close. Open your launcher, let it up date. Close launcher, reopen, and will let you in.
Worked for me, hope it helps others with the Error 200.

In the other thread, poster wenchmore posted a fix to the error 200. I wanted to post it here for those still having issues and in case the post gets buried in the other thread. sorry but its pure coincidence. deleting/renaming a folder can not nor will not defeat a ddos.

if this is the case then why do i not have this issue when loading the 32 bit client but every time i try to have it load the 64 bit-i get the error 200. Every time. So i uncheck the box in front of "load 64 bit" so it loads the 32. No problems

and you're doing this via the launcher? I cant say as i never use the launcher. only time i use the launcher is for updates. any time i start the game its via the eso64.exe
I dont like having the launcher sitting there running, doing nothing, after the client is started and got tired of having to kill it.
its a placebo thing. this fix does nothing. you can delete the folder, it will be re-created and if you win the ddos lotto, you'll log in.
sure. its what we are being fed. its just as good as an excuse as any i suppose.Iskrasfemme wrote: »You really belive in DDOs...

so, tell me how this is fixing your game? you realize NOTHING is changing, just the name of an EMPTY folder?
I guess you had better inform the personnel at ESO headquarters that they aren't/weren't being ddos'd then.Iskrasfemme wrote: »First, not is DDOs atack. Secound, i cant tell to you my suspect. Sorry, not is personal.

Program Data Backup
Program Data
ProgramDataBackup
are now the three files in the "Launcher" file that were not there before. will this screw up my future updates in eso ?
will this screw up my entire eso file? and game?
now, inside each one of those 3 files it has a file named
applications.json
