Reverting to cursor mode after looting

I just got a new keyboard after my old one died. Ever since, after looting a container, I stay in cursor mode. Usually I just move my toon and I revert to reticule mode, now it is staying in cursor mode and I have to manually go back to reticule mode.
Only setting I could find is the keybind for cursor mode, which I set for a more convenient setting, but still a pita. Any suggestions on getting this back to working the way it was with the old keyboard?
