Problem with servers - One solution

After several tests on my computer, FlushDNS and renewip, Ive found that the problem with the servers have to do with your internet location. Ive switched to using my AT&T Teethering and could log in, but not on my verizon home internet. Ive switched back to verizon and still could not log in. My friend tha also has verizon and lives in another state can also log in using his AT&T teethering.

So, if you have some teethering plan, you can use it to log in till the server comes back up for everyone.

The issue with the servers today have nothing to do with our internet setups.

Though the common issues among a select few that every day get DCed and such are local which includes internet connections.

Today's issue is to wide spread to be a local internet connection issue. Though it could have to do with different switches your ATT wireless plan goes through vs land based connection goes through.

Edit: 4 of the 6 that were DCed have logged in without changing services.

Tethering with a mobile data plan? This is a joke right? Right?

They should hire you to fix servers.

I use to work radio, aka deal with connectivity issues.
ESO needs to invest in some HFIP, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_Frequency_Internet_Protocol

When one server gets DDoS, HFIP kicks in and takesover. aka another server a different server.

Basically, if one duty station loses comms, another duty station nearby shares comms and therefore you never lose comms unless both/all get DDoS. Coordinated DDoS attack.

You'd need to get in real deep to take out comms of different locations. Serious hacker, like u been in hiding for years type hacker.

    Not is DDos!

It seems Zenimax has sold more games than it can handle on its servers. Profitability over the quality of services. This is old ...

    Solution, play BDO.

I tether when my local internet is unstable and it is not big deal. Some play on wireless 100% of the time and pay per gig to have good broadband without issue.

After all the botting Ive seen in this game, I highly doubt its a cordinated or intentional DDOS.

But still, tethering is working fine with me but still my home internet doesnt. My only problem is that my Data Plan has a cap and its not as fast or responsive as my home internet, so I have to play with a 500 ping average which sucks.

Worked for me. two hours of not being able to get in on my home network, hotspotted on AT&T and am in.

With all due respect... you don't know what you're talking about.

I am having a really weird problem in regards to this. I don't know of anyone can help me. I have two xboxes in my home, on for me and one for my partner. I recently moved to a new place and don't have the Internet set up so I figured we would use tethering. When I tether my phone to my xbox, I can do anything from Netflix to Amazon prime etc except log onto ESO. When I tether to my partners phone, it works. I have tried this on both xboxes and I can't log on in my account if it's tethered to my phone. The only common denominator is my tethering but it only applies to ESO and not to any other app.Does anyone know how this makes sense and if so, how so I resolve it?
