[Question] A quick and easy question about Group Dungeons:

I only play PvE in ESO, and most of the time it's purely Solo play. While I like seeing the other players running around, life and circumstances don't give me really any opportunities to Group with people, and so most of the Group Dungeons (Fungal Grotto, The Banished Cells, etc.) have been off limits to me.

But I find that I am finally going to be able to get into a group this weekend to tackle one or two of these Group Dungeons, so my questions stems from never really having touched them before:

I know that Group Dungeons (like Fungal Grotto and The Banished Cells) are designed for a minimum of 4 Players, but what is the Maximum players that can go in at once? Could our Group go in with six Players? Or is Four the maximum as well?

Four is the maximum. As well are you aware what role you are? Generally group dungeons will be more difficult than the overland content.

4 is the maximum, and if you can't get a group together use group finder. Despite the forum horror stories I use it for all my undaunted pledges and usually have good results. I hope this helped, peace!

You can go in solo, duo, trio and with four players. 4 players being max.

I know about the rolls players need to take and such. Those aren't too dissimilar to other MMO's I play and have played.

Our current Group is:
I'm a Templar DPS that can do Healing if necessary (back bar is Resto Staff and all Templar Healing Skills)
My wife is a pure DPS Magicka Sorcerer
We've got a tank
and we're working on getting a pure Healer as our 4th.

The reason I asked is that I've got more than enough people from my Guild signing up for the Dungeon runs, and I was trying to figure out if we'd have to field more than one Group or not.

If you're unsure about your capabilities start with the dungeons in what used to be the lower lvl zones: Auridon, Glenumbra and Stonefall. They aren't all that hard to solo even. Some dungeons have two versions, where the second is harder.

There are basically 5 levels of Group Dungeons. Normal I and II, Vet I and II and Hard Mode Vet. Only the Vet modes and the ones with the II (ex Fungal Grotto II) in the name require good group mechanics.

Normal Mode Group Dungeons, the ones that have a I after their name are pretty easy to do. Group make up and mechanics are not really an issue, just burn down the mobs. So, don't sweat the base group dungeons. You could probably even solo Fungal Grotto I Normal without too much drama.

Oh, I'm not worried about our capabilities. We're going to be able to do it, I was just wondering how many players I could pack into the clown car.

Good luck in the dungeon, but golly, 561+ CP and not been in a dungeon or know the dungeon cap, that's mental.
