So first, let me say, I love this game. I've probably spent over $3k in the crown store (I have a good job, and I like the convenience items). And I'm also very good at it (PVP)

HOWEVER.

I haven't played in about 2 months, and I don't plan on it until, somehow, CP is overhauled. I expect to be flamed endlessly by probably 90% of people who read this, but it is impossible to balance a full-time job, gym, social life and a relationship, and get max CP in ESO :D

And plz don't give me "oh you can grind up to 600CP in like 300 hours with XP gear and scrolls", I know that.

I wanna know WHO TF has 300 hours to spare before they can play endgame content of a game they love?

Not happy ZOS

You can play end game content at 300cp, even at 160cp if you have the skill.

not to make light of your plight...however, you may wanna take a closer look at re-prioritizing your life...

job, gym??? seriously, I'm sure mom or dad (god willing they are both fine and doing well in your life) would be more than happy to welcome you back to the nest...

hopefully they will have no problem in helping you through this transitional period as you look to achieve a greater sense of being - through the acquisition of maximum eso champion points...

I'll tell you one thing I didn't realize that annoyed me after this last update is that even once players hit max CP they get to keep earning CP that unlocks the moment the next patch is released. All the 561's log on for Homestead and are instantly CP600. They need to either increase the rate lower CP is earned a lot more than where it's at now or at the very least stop letting current max CP players leapfrog every CP increase.

Well I have to balance all that too and seem to manage. As mentioned above, you don't need to be Max CP to do end game stuff. For most content CP160 is good enough.
I'm at about CP470 and have no issues. I probably gain 5 CP a week atm.

Anyway, I think the current enlightenment system works good as a catch up for people who can't play everyday.

They do the bold part each time an update increases the CP cap. That's the nature of the formula used for the CP catchup mechanism. If the cap increases then the earlier CPs become quicker to earn than they were before. Between that and enlightenment, you can get to decent amounts of CP in a very reasonable amount of time. Naturally, as you get closer to the cap (or beyond it) each CP takes much more XP to earn.

As an example to illustrate the catchup mechanism, on my main account I'm at CP 739. To earn my next CP requires 814,018 XP. On my 2nd account I'm at CP 181. To earn my next CP requires only 158,588 XP. It's a much better system than back when each and every CP took exactly 400K XP.

I find this funny I'm way past max cp but I love the guys in zone chat that use to say only cp561 dailies then when the update hits they are at 580 and now the pleb XD.

That being said cp just comes I get about 1 a day not even trying just pvping or even farming they just seem to come if ur at cp 300 then ur just fine keep playing before you know it you will be at 600 it's really not that big of a deal.

I work and take care of my kids while my wife goes to work 3rd shift life and only play about 2 hours a day. If it was me in ur shoes low on cp I would just grind each day doing the random daily for a huge boost then off to a grind spot I could make profit some how at. At cp300 and wearing training gear 2 hours of grinding plus exp pot u should be able to get almost 10cp a day that's not to bad.

I probably should have clarified this earlier, my bad. I literally play 95-5 ratio of PVP to PVE. I don't care about dailies and dungeons and stuff. And nothing is more frustrating than being stuck on 180CP in the only pop-locked campaign on the server. Non-CP campaigns are all dead, and in CP campaigns, you have to rely on coming up against scrubs.

You luckily don't need max to partake.

Just play and enjoy - the points will come. I'm in the exact situation you are, and I've given up on MLGBISWTFPWNED from the beginning. If I can't solo or PUG it, it's not for me. I play casually and I'm almost at 400 CP. Which is more than enough for the elitist check in vet dungeons.

OP solution for you - play once every 7 days for a semi full - full day. Make it something like a Saturday or Sunday - reason being you would have gained 7/12 days worth of enlightenment...

that means a minimum of easy 7 Champion points a week! Plus if you pop a few exp pots and grind or even just do Dolmens you could possibly gain 20 CP in that time. Do this for 2 months

Also why the rush to 600? Just enjoy the game and play when / how you want. Technically you can get a minimum of 1 CP per night just by playing regular content...

I farmed 151CP - from 449CP to 600CP - in 4 days and about 20 hours total in Skyreach. I used the magicka nightblade build Deltia made on his YouTube channel. I had full purple training gear and gold training destruction staves, ESO plus bonus, group bonus, and mythic aetherial ambrosias. I was completing a loop (including port in/out time) in right around 5 minutes and getting about 238k XP per run.

Try Azura - CP doesn't matter there. I suspect it will be a lot more popular going forwards due to this NO-CP 'test'. Then when you feel you have enough CPs to compete in the CP-servers - switch to there. Simples (and something I would have done back when I was a lowbie if it wasn't always empty then)

It doesn't take long for the CP's to come if you stop worrying about them.. (A watched pot never boils etc..)

I know plenty of Players that are way above the CP cap and we keep going you know, I know personally as I am one of them at around 867+ CP, I know of others that have way over 1000+ CP and a few others that have 1100+ CP or more (those are at the top of the Spectrum in the Game).

But don't worry eventually we will hit 3600 CP (the max) and we wont get anymore.

oh yeah I am on PS4 NA, BTW there are those on PC that are way higher than 1200+ CP

oh yeah, those that have like a 1000+ CP also have to earn like a million+ XP to earn a single CP, not the upper end average of 400,000 xp per Champion point. Last I checked it cost's me about 900k per CP and I work hard to get them... by playing the game

PS- I guess it's time for you to get to the CP Cap and then go over it for the next time CP is raised, because others will already be there... waiting.. I can guarantee it...

That means you get to kill people regardless of their CPs.

On the other hand, suggesting to buy, CPs - mate, that's just so wrong.

The people you call "scrubs" spend a lot of time playing this game and they deserve to have this feeling of achievement. They have their own life and there is no need to put your own persona on top of them. Like other people said before me there is absolutely no need to have 600 cp to play this game and enjoy it. Sounds like there is a scrub inside you and you feel jealous. Get a life.
