Two datamined black kagoutis (with pics!)

I just posted this in another thread, but I thought very few people would see it there, so I wanted to give it its own post. There are two datamined black kagoutis. One seems to have a saddle, so perhaps one is a mount and the other a pet/baby? Another explanation would be if ZOS did two versions of the art for the same kagouti. (Although one has a longer snout than the other.) I love these!

I would like to point out that there are Hearthfire Kagouti in game already in shadowfen but they're just called Kagouti and they're the same size as the regular skin Kagouti. So hopefully that means we'll get a Hearthfire mount.

They're not available right now, unfortunately. I'd like one, too. There was one that was released for a limited period of time a while back before I started playing ESO, but it's not available any more. These datamined Kagoutis will come out some time in the future, but we don't know when.

This was datamined ages ago and I think wouldn't be news to most.

I'm not sure they'd be two separate mounts though. Their colour and patterning is identical. The only difference is their eyes. So I would guess that these are two concept art takes on a single mount and at some point someone said "Let's try one with fiery eyes".

You didn't actually read my post, but OK.
Of course they won't both be mounts. One might be a baby-sized pet OR maybe one of the pics is just an earlier version of the concept art, and maybe there will only be a mount and no matching pet. The snout is shorter in one of the pics, in addition to the eyes being different.

True. These pictures are old and nothing in your first sentence suggested you were revealing anything new. So I stopped reading.

FYI I've since seen a screenshot of this mount and the eyes are odd. They appear to be green but the upper corner is orange. That detail doesn't match either of the concept art pieces.

Another possibility might be that the eyes have some kind of dynamic fiery effect, i.e. the eyes are plain green and sometimes flare up with fire. That screenshot might have been taken as the fire was flaring up or going out.
