I once ran the sorc meta setup, spinners and lich with inferno. I replaced spinners with julianos and I see myself doing far better in terms of damage. I haven't slapped spinners back on for the longest. I'm beginning to think it's highly overrated.
Yeah it depends who you're fighting; spinners will do nothing for you while fighting a light armour user with 8k resistances and wards, but will really help while fighting a trollplar with 35k resistances and no wards. If your cyro is made up of mostly low resistance players with wards then spinners will do you no favours. Personally I love it cos I avoid fighting sorcs, I don't want to do more damage to other squishies, I just want those tanks to drop
also depends on the overall setup imo, your spinner lich combo means that the bulk of your set damage comes from just spinners. So a target with damage shields negates most of your damage set up since you only have one damage set.
While I would still have a decent amount of extra damage against damage shields on my mNB from necropotence on a 5 necro, 5 spinner, infernal guardian setup. switching to julianos just gives you more well rounded damage against all targets, while spinner's gives better damage against pretty much all targets without a damage shield, since penetration is just strong. Since your running only one damage set, then julianos or something else might very well be a better choice for you.
