Blue Ocean Strategy ESO

Blue Ocean strategy involves innovative, bringing things together, and not competiting against anyone, new market, new product.

Example of Blue Ocean Strategy in ESO could be housing system like The Sims.

Rather than have people who like to play around with housing go explore and do dungeons and stuff for housing stuff, how about make housing stuff obtainable by doing housing itself.
Make housing a whole new game inside a game. People go mingle with other players doing housing, people goto a 'work' and fast forward time. People go study in library and learn how to do other things. People have to take care of their hygiene. People have to ensure they are fed properly.

You have the food in game.
You have the books in game.
You have the housing system in game, just make it open world, make it a new instance thats open world.
You have minor tasks people can do in game.

You have everything pretty much set up, all you need is to integrate it into a Blue Ocean strategy.

More players will come into the game, sure they wont be MMORPG'ers, but more the better.

Think of Cirque du Soleil, bringing two aspects together, theater and circus.
The circus had the actors
The circus had the stage
All they did was integrate theater in circus, and they taking over the industry.

I don't know. If you want to go that deep into housing then maybe stay with sims.
I'd prefer if ESO stayed as a combat focus game rather than split into a full on housing sim.

Yes but you guys dont understand,
another thing they have is, automatic furnishing for housing. (could be used for random NPC houses)
they have random things NPC do already too, so no extra coding needed
they already have random emotes people can use too

They have all of this stuff, there literally is no work to be done but make an open world zone and making it similar to Sims.

Lemme just say this, this system would create PR, and by PR I dont mean some nobody announces ESO now has housing. I mean people like Francis, Angry Joe, etc. those people come and try it out and let their 3 million followers know how it is and share about their experience.

What happened when FooseyTube announced that a hotel wasnt prejudice against homeless people? over 1000 people did a bad review on them.
What could happen if you get PR from Francis, Angry Joe, etc., over 1000 new people playing ESO.

What ESO is doing right now, red ocean. Make stuff simple, housing just like housing in other games, except try and make it better.
Blue ocean is housing is different than other games, its integrated with something else that is successful and compliments it, it is in an non-contested area of the market therefore competes with no one. Aka Cirque du Soleil, circus + theater... And you wonder why circuses are dying out now??? Because of Cirque du Soleil Blue Ocean Strategy, thats why.
