999+ ping and disconnect

Okay, the bouncing ping has been an issue for as long as some of us can remember, but these servers are rapidly getting worse and worse, i used to be able to play on the EU server but its now nigh impossible random pings of 500, 700, 999+, it's all over the place, my main though is on the NA server which is usually better but even there ive noticed a slow degradation both in pve and pvp, just now though for the first time it started doing something ive never seen before in pve, at the dolmens in the desert i was going to run with the pack for awhile but each time the zerg showed up after 5 or so seconds i would hit 999+ ping and then disconnect, i tried it multiple times with the same result. My pings on other games are still stable and the same as they always have been so is this ever going to be fixed, not only fixed but are they going to let the servers slide into more bottlenecking and whatever the hell else is going on, how much more of this are those who are suffering from this problem expected to take?.

i reload and logg back in, my ping goes from 100 to 410 then right to 999+ and i get booted to loggin screen.
this has been happening over and over and over all day.
i can see 2 things that might be why.

1) there is a wind storm here and maybe im loosing connection every few minutes ?

2) the devs at eso are purposely weighing heavy on the servers this week and pushing the server stress to it's limit for data testing this week only ?

is all i can guess and think because i have no real proof.

I'd wager option 2.
Seeing as the double AP is to increase load on the servers, it wouldn't surprise me if the devs were helping to up the stress levels.

This has been happening to me every day since maintenance a few weeks ago don't know if it's something on my side or what, but even the menu is really laggy and when I'm loading into my char it'll load for like 30 seconds which is much longer than what it used to be. My ping will sit at a constant 999+ out of nowhere.
