To summarize the exploit and issue a PSA to other players before getting help on my specific issue.
Do not accept any master writs through COD. The game does not allow you to see the value or details of the writ as an attachment. You will only see the type (e.g. blacksmithing, woodworking, etc.). At least it is this way on the Xbox client.
I was recently scammed when trying to buy a sealed master writ from someone. We negotiated the price over a 96 voucher blacksmithing master writ. He CODed the writ to me, but I noticed that I could not see if it was actually for 96 vouchers like the one he linked in chat. He seemed fair and reasonable when negotiating price so I said I would trust him - the writ was for only 6 vouchers. I reported the player and put in an incident report, but how long does it normally take to review such matter? I know ZOS does not disclose the results in terms of bans/suspensions for the perpetrating individual(s) (even if I wish this particular person gets a lengthy suspension), but I would like a resolution to the gold I was wrongfully outted...
@ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom any help or info on this bug (not seeing voucher value in COD mail) or my particular incident of stolen in-game gold?
