Look guys we all know people who leave groups when they get Qeued in a dungeon with low CP ( for many reasons like they dont have time to do a dungeon for 30-45 min which should be understandable by everybody who has other things to do )

So why not have a Q finder that allows you to set what CP category you are in to match you with your CP level .

That would reduce rate of people leaving groups AND we wouldnt ever see a another thread about taking off timer penalty for leaving group.

If im CP600 and i get Qeued with CP160's i know im in for a long dungeon lol

So would you guys be cool with that?

I've got >730cp and I am never concerned about the CP the player has. That person with 160cp could be a far better player than ones with 1000cp.
The only time I've dropped a group, is when a player is *** up and they won't take advice to unfck themselves.
I've completed vet dungeons before where every player besides me has <160cp.

If you want to run dungeons quickly, find friends and stop using group finder.

No because the activity finder is suppose to be a random group thing.....it's like you're asking for:

Normal selection would instead say 1-49
Veteran would instead say 1-159 CP
    And a third would say 160- 600

Now hard mode would be max cp only whatever that current number is.
The above seems logical until you consider that it's One Tamriel.

Here's all that needs to change.

In activity finder dungeons, battle levels need to be set to the max CP so basically cp599 and below gain scaled attributes and effects so ppl can finish all dungeons in Vet.

Hard mode should be cp600 or the max only and no scaling but also that Vet queue means max CP and everyone else is level 10-cp 599

To me that's a better option and let's do away with VR stuff. Take all the dang Cp levels items out and just have CP and non CP items meaning levels 1-49 and then CP

No. CP is not a good enough representation of player capabilities or dps.
I've had Max CP players that were useless and CP 200 that were better than me.

It won't change much. If you have specific group requirements then form a group manually.

If someone does not want to run dungeons with lower CP players they have the choice to set their group to whatever CP they desire. Just form up outside the GF. Easy as that.

Im not high on the CP scale, but there's been a few times were even I carried high level CP players. Just goes to show that just because you can level a character doesnt mean you know how to play them the best way you can.

I'm a 600 cp. My friend and I can 2 man dungeons now. It wasn't always that way.

We use dungeon finder to hopefully give lower levels a good dungeon experience. I remember trying for hours on end to beat City of Ash back in the day.

We have met 600s who have 0 skill. We have met 200s who are OP. I try not to judge my CP.

The last poll option tells me everything I need to know.

If you want to do dungeons with only CP 600 super geared and knowledgable players, join or start a guild with fellow people like that.

The group finder is for people to find a quick PUG without spamming chat, if you don't like the people it groups you with then go back to zone chat or as said make a guild so you can make a group to your expectations.

This, lots of speed runs and dungeon farming.

No because CP does not make a good player. I've run with CP600+ who kept standing in the red circles, and I've played with CP100 who were excellent.
If you want to run with 600+, don't use group finder simple as that. I usually don't use it unless we can't find a healer which happens pretty often, and somehow pug healers are usually nice people x)

No, i dont think CP is that important. However, I think it would be useful to be able to select run type, e.g.

    Speed Run
    Grinding
    Just for fun
    Undaunted

That way, casual users might be less likely to go for a speed rub group, for example

If you want to be elitist OP, nothing wrong with it. Queue with guild mates or friends.

PUGS are exactly that Player Unknown Groups/ Pick Up Group.

Thus you're in for a random time. Sometimes those low CP players are better than some people with higher CP, sometimes you want to claw your eyes out and wish you never clicked queue.
    The outcome is unknown.

Guildies for life... Cause if they are bad you can help em improve

My main is a CP 280 DK ST tank, and I can do all vet dungeons just fine. I had good and bad experiences with players of all CP ranges.

While the chance of having a successfull run is higher the more CP players have, even more important is their build and attitude. I had great fast runs with DDs below CP 100 that knew how to play, and bad ones with players at CP 600 who did not know what they were doing.

Remember, everyone eventually reaches the CP cap, regardless of how well they play...

Got put into a group with a CP10 tank doing vet Blessed Crucible. Cleared it with only one wipe on the last boss. I have no issue grouping with low CP players because I don't need to be carried unlike the high CP players that insist on only being with other high CP players.

No - Especially in normal dungeons.

I had about 30 min to play last night , I qued for a dungeon last night as healer, got grp after about 30 sec.
The group formed , the tank was 500+ CP , there was a 300+ DPS and a 250+ DPS and me
at 45ish LOL. The tank said nothing and dropped in the 1st 10 sec, 10 sec later 1 DPS dropped
and then the other and now I have a 15 min timer to re-que.
So i ran around on a pickpocketing , stealing and killing rampage in Stormhold ><

What I dont get is why ? Even if it didnt end up being a speed run it would still be better and more productive than waiting
for another 15 min ( or even longe if you are DPS ) I have run many many random normals and they always go very quick and very smooth
I dont get what people are afraid of.
