As much as I'd like to see the crates die in a fire, they were quite successful and are likely here to stay.
So far in 2017 I've spent 220 crowns, that's a MASSIVE drop from what I typically spent over the last year... but I'm not going to throw my money in a hole. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I got a lot of money in my steam account right now, and the only reason why I'm not spending it on this game is because theirs NOTHING to buy. I'm not about to get myself into the financial gamble by gambling away my money on items that I may or may not get.
So again when are you gonna get rid of the gambling crown crates, and actually respect your players by selling us actual items instead of RNG?

They will never go away. Much like the Crowns that I have that have less stuff to be spent on, now.

They keep the inventory in the store low on purpose, although I can only guess as to why. It's not like the virtual game files take up room in a warehouse, or anything.I know what you mean, my Crowns are collecting dust and I have so little to spend them on since they are adding so little stuff to the store through direct purchase
Gating new content behind gambling boxes and making it exclusive is absurd and alienates a significant portion of your customers.

If only they put some sort of, I don't know, Warden Class Change Token in the store so I could buy a couple of them when Morrowind comes out and get rid of some of my Crowns... Or perhaps some sort of black hair dye
