Items cannnot be removed from the house wall?

I have a painting that I cannot target to remove off the wall. My friend has the same issue with a torch and a painting. My house is the Hunding's house and his is the med house in wayrest, if that matters.

✭Some of the walls in certain houses are bounded a bit oddly, so they're technically slightly out of bounds. When something is out of bounds, you can no longer select it with the housing editor.
You can retrieve the items by going into the Housing Editor and using the Retrieve tab. So, there's no harm in putting items in these spots, except that you want to be a bit more careful about placing them exactly where you want them, since you have to completely remove them to adjust them.Living vicariously through my characters.
