No. Once you've look at it once all the houses will appear on your map (which is kind of annoying), and you can access them all through the crown store or collections menus. The only thing you lose by getting rid of the document is the flavour text, and if you want to re-read it there's a copy just outside each of the free inn rooms.

There's an addon on PC which will hide them - it's called HideHousePreviews.

But nothing for consoles yet. They're classed as wayshrines so you either have to have the houses showing or have no wayshrines.
